Cadre assez sympa mais personnel amateur (cuisine grande ouverte, plats qui tombent, etc.). Nous sommes venus en couple pour y déjeuner, certains plats ne pouvaient pas être modifiés car déjà préparés... mais en général notre avis reste plutôt satisfaisant.

Lovely little dinner...
At first I thought the french just can't do cheese properly (like the dutch...) but I admit to have fallen in love with that Camembert-Omelette you see...
Even though the weather was nasty that second weekend of January the small dinner we had at Les Deux Augustins fitted very well into a surprisingly overall overwhelming handball weekend

Very bad service. We ordered an omelet and it was not even properly cooked. The center was raw and the borders were carbonized. The server was always touching his nose. 10 euros for 2 spoiled eggs. The biggest disappointment in the city.

Worst experience ever. Never experienced a service of this bad quality in entire France. Order didn't came for one hour and they even hadn't started to prepare the main plates. We had to leave for catching a bus and they didn't even said sorry. Rudeness is redefined here people. Avoid this place...!!!

Ate here because the options where limited and they had an English menu. Food was ok.

In city center, has pleasant staff. Good for a quick pint or an espresso.

Really, really bad experience. We had a late lunch, so the restaurant was far from full (1 or 2 other tables).
The trouble started when we asked if we could remove one of the ingredients of their pizzas on the menu. The answer was a blunt no. Talk about friendly. I asked if they were made on the spot, I get yes as an answer. So leaving out 1 ingredient shouldn't be a problem?! Only when I threatened (in French) to leave the restaurant the waiter wanted to ask the kitchen.
Food was bland, but not horrible either.
When we asked for the check the second surprise came. They overcharged us for 4 virgin mojitos, claiming they cost as much as the ones with alcohol (which the menu clearly states otherwise). Only after 10 minutes discussion in English with the in laws they changed the check, to once again overcharge us with a completely fictional price. So I stepped in and had to tell them off in French, and only then they admitted to another fault. In my opinion this is no fault but a deliberate attempt to overcharge non suspecting customers. For shame.
