The beef tenderloin with source Bordelais is heavenly. I had as red wine Moulins de Citran 2009. Excellent value. Food is great and wine was excellent but not expensive.

Food: Oysters, Steaks (rib steak more tender than sirloin), Fries (one serving enough for three+ people), Mashed Potatoes and Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert. We asked for a wine suggestion and the waiter was very helpful.

The food was ok. The meat/fish is actually pretty decent and tasty. The quantities are very insufficient though. Half a carrot and a big spoon of carbs is NOT enough for a dinner. Especially considering the prices in this restaurant. Plenty of other places in Bordeaux to get a better meal. :)

Atmosphere: Modern, with many tables for two but also tables for large groups.

Meat so bad it had to be sent out. They also took the fries and vegetables. Meat came back, not much better, fries never came.
Ordered red wine from Bordeaux to go with the meat. They came with a vine from Argentina but we can blame that on translation issues.
Oysters very good. Service to busy to pay much attention to us altough we never behaved out of order or without respect.

Great meal here. Fresh seafood. Terrific grilled meats. Duck breast was very good.

Service: Friendly, attentive and they spoke English. There was even an English menu as well.

Highly recommended.

The worst restaurant in Bordeaux by some distance. Food is overrated. Service was non existant. We waited 15 minutes to recieve a menu. Another 15 minutes to order. Never got asked about drinks. Finally got the wine menu as we finished the main. Table next to us was so disgusted they walked out during the main and didnt pay!! Words fail to describe it.

They definitely need to improve the service (not very friendly, and very difficult to order if you don't speak french). In my opinion, is overprice for the quality/quantity of food. Good variety of wines. Stop by only if everywhere else is closed.

We sat there for 2.5 hours and enjoyed the highly enjoyed our experience.

We had a five star experience at La Brasserie Bordelasise.

Ok place for a standard good meal. We asparagus (very good), duck breast (good, but a bit big) and a beef filet (overlooked, ordered medium rare). The side were ok, but nothing special. Wine list is nice. Place is a bit noise and service is friendly.

Decent food and wine for a good price. Larger than we initially expected, this place can get pretty busy, and maybe feel a little chaotic.

Top Tip: Arrive when they open at 8pm for a table. It was packed from 10pm onward.
