A great little camp site, cared for by a chap who loves people and camping. This is a definite hang out for bikers, as it is a great base for mountain ride-outs and the shower facilities (and pool) are a welcome end to a clutch-grabbing, rear-brake tickling day out. I loved my two nights here and I am considering basing a future holiday around this place and its surrounds. Awesome. If you are a biker, check out the road from camp Camassade, through Vence, up to Le Broc and beyond. Make sure your tyres are in good condition first and you'll have a blast!

Great camping! The camping is situated near the beautiful village Tourettes sur loup,.
Good and peaceful places. There is a nice swimming pool at the camp-site, Wifi is available.
The toilets and bathrooms (hot water) are clean, and cleaned a couple of times a day.
Alain owns the place with his father and if you have a problem they are always willing to help you.
At the reception you can get information about the region Cote D'Azur and you can order bread, buy some wine, lemonade, ice cream etc..
Just a great place to be!!

A great place to explore all the beautifull places of the cote d'azur! We visited Nice, Antibes, Monaco, all with great beaches and within one hour driving. For the mountains we went the other way, Andon is very nice to explore. The site itself is friendly and peacefull, with very friendly onwers.
The sanitation is good, it gets cleaned twice a day. So for all those who think about going here, i can certainly recommend it!

AVOID La Camassade at all costs!!! I arrived with my wife and 3 very tired young children after an 8 hour drive to be confronted by a dark, dingy site, with broken facilities (no play area, no swimming pool, barbed wire fencing that was hidden in bushes - perfect for children to run into, or wonder off to the surrounding rundown housing estate - a parent's nightmare. The owner (a Dutch chap) was not happy when we complained and he started to swear obscenities at us in front of the kids… nice! He then, as it transpired, phoned ahead and gave our licence plate to other Dutch campsites in the area, leaving us with no option other than to take a hotel for the night and rethink the holiday following day. We moved on to Apt and had a great holiday all the same.
A shame, because Vence is wonderful, as are the locals, but this was the worst campsite I’ve ever seen – with some very sad looking occupants.

a total dump of a place with a weird fellow managing the place the type that stares down a lady's top. The people and the place feels unhappy, campers stare at each other in the midday sun and silently ask themselves "is this really a holiday or a nightmare?" Don't waste your precious holiday time in this prison
