A place for locals, students and bohemians where you can sip your cafe au lait or beer for hours without any insistence from the servers (so don't expect quick service). Unpretentious yet very French, La Taverne is a sure bet when I'm in town.

La taverne souffre de sa réputation, il y a trop de monde et trop de bruit, ce qui empêche beaucoup la concentration pour les étudiants ou bien même une simple discussion.
Je trouve que le prix des boissons restent onéreux.

Warm place with interesting decorations, service is standard. Food selection is minimal, beer availability is fine.
