I think is the older hotel in town. The room's are a little Scorsese but comfortable. The breakfast is awesome.

Terrific! Highly recommend! The showers are the best we've experienced in 3 weeks traveling France (smile). Desk staff were very helpful with special requests, the breakfast was delicious, rooms very nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location can't be any better: easy access to TGV and rental cars. Le Grand Hotel was recommended to us by a Tours resident. Reserve a room with no regrets!

We was given a room that smelt awful, like mold. The room in general was not nice, depressing. The bed leg was broken therefore bed collapsed on sitting on it. Discovered when running a bath that there was a hidden leak that run under floor a wet the carpet floor near foot of bed outside the bathroom.
We got our room changed to a much nicer one via night porter. So be aware there are awful rooms and nice rooms there. We found there is other hotels much better and much cheaper.

I do not recomend.

This hotel is located right next to the station. Room condition was little outdated, but clean. No amenities. There is McDonalds across the street, which is good for having a big sized Americano. I would stay at this hotel if I visit Tours again.

King size bed. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Unfortunately the room is gloomy and there is a strong smell of detergent in the corridors.

Great staff. So kind and helpful. Someone is training them well. Multiple French hotels on this trip and this one stands out above all. Friendly, welcoming. Lovely room, bath, service. Parking is right across square underground at the gare. If in tours again, will come back to me grand hotel.

The elevator is quite old and small. The room I had was clean, there were a bathroom and had a nice view to the train station. Overall really welcoming.
