After travelling 9 hours to reach Strasbourg we were admittedly exhausted during our meal so probably didn't enjoy the experience as much as it warranted. My wife and I both had a french onion soup was traditional and very tasty. We both enjoyed the steak after which was fantastic and had a great peppercorn sauce. Very good wine selection and look forward to coming back to this restaurant when not so tired.

Touristy, pricey, yes. But it seems that locals do eat here as well. I enjoyed it although service can be gruff. Interesting decor.

Good but pricy. Get the duck, it was fantastic. The snails were overcooked and had a suboptimal sauce.

Very fine cuisine, excellent setting next to the river with a small private garden. Very romantic. Service is top notch, discrète and professional.
Even the kids menu is of a very high quality and not the usual preheated nuggets most places offer for kids.
Prices are high but definitely worth it, if you are looking for high quality food, service and ambiance.
Giving 4 stars only because it's not very accessible for wheelchairs, especially the wc.

Beautiful architecture.

Actually they cook on a pretty nice Level..
and if you happen to visit the Region you will walk by anyway when you Approach Petit France.

Amazing eats. Reasonable prices for the quality. One of the best french meals I had here on Strasbourg. Very accommodating since I don't speak a lick of french. I will be returning during my time studying.

You gotta be very quick with reservations, since it is always overbooked..
if you happen to visit during Summer-Time it can be nice to sit outside..
traditional cuisine from the Alsace Region.. accompanied by experienced nice Service.

I think one of the touristic must see in the Petite France, Strasbourg. Great, traditional food, fantastic atmosphere with a professional service and amazing local wines. 5 starts!

The Maison des Tanneurs is a touristic Must-See in Strasbourg..
i would describe it as a Horror-House with regards to Hygiene..
pretty sure they did not Change the carpets and Floors since the 1800s..
and I am fully aware about the restrictive renovation Standards of the government..
it still is possible to renovate and upgrade to Standards of our century.
