It is worth to visit this cathedral just to see those beautiful windows, which were made by incredible Gothic and Renaissance artists, as well as by modernist Marc Chagall.

The st Étienne cathedral is one of the most beautiful ever. The 'rosace' is enormous and colorful. You can get to the top on the la mutte tower and observe some Chagall

Beautiful cathedral. Open for public. The front gate and the window above are awesome. Nice cafes are in the area around the cathedral.

The great cathedral in the French city of Metz is called St Etienne. It was consecrated in 1552, after being under construction for several centuries. We toured the cathedral, with its magnificent stained glass windows and one of the highest naves in the world.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much there is to see in Metz, France. Beautiful city and the cafe by the Cathedral was nice to sit outside and see the great view.
