We had a wonderful afternoon at the perfum workshop and tour with Angela afterward. Learned much about the when, why’s, and how’s of parfumerie. One of a kind experience. Merci Angela!

It's basically a marketing strategy but a good one: the tour is made of 3 parts and in various languages, so the guide talks about
1. The history of parfume making,
2. The chemical process of extracting essence
3. The art of combining them into a single smell - there is even a table with jars and you're supposed to place the smelling jar onto a photo that represents it.
At the end you are supposed to smell a couple of their perfumes and recognise different fragrances in them. Then comes the marketing part, and you can buy some bottles if you want, but it's not mandatory not imposing and it's just so near the door, that you can quickly leave without feeling bad.

It's just a selling trick
Nothing more
It's a private space from a small company
Do the guide around
See the museum
(it's nice)
And after all that they just trying to sell you perfumes on a very cheap box with no advertising
It's actually pretty smart!

The tour was quite interesting. They explain the process of making perfumes and show various exhibits with quite fascinating perfume bottles. There is also a room with fascinating collection of perfume labels. The tour ends upstairs in the shop, where they present the five kinds of perfumes Fragonard makes. I guess most of the disappointed people visited this place when there were immense crowds in attendance. Ours was a quiet, relaxing visit.

Best place in Paris. Must visit this museum with free entry and anal tour with a host explaining how the perfumes are produced in house.. Also variety of fragrances to buy as a souvenir.. loved it ❤

The tour is free and it's pretty good, but they do try to push hard to sell you on some expensive perfume at the end. You generally wait quite a while for a tour, and they never seem to start on time, just tell you "in 2 more minutes" for over a half an hour. Be prepared to wait!

Nice small museum, nothing phenomenal but one can't really complain since it's free. It was interesting to see all the old machinery used in distillation of oils and the old school perfume vials. There's a perfume store acting as a gift shop- or rather, the museum is what is supposed to lure you to the store. if you're interested in perfume, give it half about hour, otherwise explore the more glamorous attractions.

Free guided tour available in different languages. It takes about 25 to 30 min. There are not so many objects, although it is a beautiful collection to get to know about the evolution of parfum. The presentation is very elegant. At the end, we can tested different perfumes Fragonard. The personnel is very welcome. If you have a little time and want to know more about perfumes, after visiting the opera, why not?

Modest collection of perfumes...parfum in metal containers..that's new...they claim the metal containers retain the parfum for 8 years

Was surprised that they had a free tour. Learnt a lot from this tour about how perfumes are made, the different concentrations from EDT to Parfum. They also have unique aromas that are intoxicating. A must for everyone.

Very sales orientated. Lovely little museum but not allowed to explore on our own and some of the information presented was inaccurate. Perfumes do last a long while though.
