This museum consists of two parts, one Rue St Jean and the other in Rue de Grand Puits. Connections between the two are not signposted so be sure to ask and get details ("turn left & ahead" left a bit of guess work...)

I was lucky they only accepted cash otherwise I would've been ripped for € 9.50. No thanks.

Basic. Low tech. Some interesting original items however.

El "museo" apenas tiene nada. Se compone de unos maniquíes mal puestos acompañados de alguna pieza de tortura de la Inquisición, bastante escaso y ridículo. La entrada cuesta 9,50€ y no los vale para lo que es.

For 7 euros you get a few rooms filled with badly photocopied images ripped from books on torture. Whole experience takes no more than 5 minutes. I was greatly disappointed by this on my trip to Carcassonne. Do not visit - a complete rip off and con.

Overpriced. For 3-5 Euros I would have said it's ok. But it was 19 EUR for two of us and it's very low in quality. Clothes were made with no respect to the traditions, puppets are mannequins, tie on the hanging rope isn't correct, one picture is reverse than original, etc. Keep out this place if you're interested of real history.

The section in Rue St Jean houses the torture items and the section in Rue de Grand Puits has a few scenes with manikins.

Steeply priced at €9.50 for a half hour (June 2016)

Le sujet de la visite est instructif, le devoir de mémoire y est mis en avant. La collection bien qu'étonnante mériterait parfois une meilleure mise en valeur, ainsi que d'être enrichie (notamment d'illustrations médiévales plus nombreuses et de textes).
La seconde partie de la visite consacrée aux cachots manque d'intérêt.
