Une cuisine traditionnelle délicieuse mais qui manque un peu d'audace. À noter le très bon accueil et les petits plus tels qu'une petite mise en bouche et une pâtisserie faite maison pour accompagner le café.

Très bon restaurant à la carte sans cesse renouvelée. L'accueil y est très chaleureux. Le restaurant idéal pour un dîner romantique

You will need to book. This is a restaurant preparing food to order, so it is impossible to just turn up. The menu changes about every 2-weeks and is very dependent on what is in season.

The €22 menu is incredible value, but not a lot of choice (fish, or meat) so you cannot be too choosey. The wines are also great value.

Food very good, but the service was a little slow - but was very relaxed, so perfect for a long easy meal. Catered for two veggies and a coeliac without a problem, and without the sniffiness you often find in good restaurants in France.

A nice small restaurant with a good standard of cooking throughout and an interesting wine list focused on the local appellations. A flavoursome amuse-bouche and interesting well put together starts were the highlight of the set evening menu. The main course whilst well cooked were a little basic in their composition and the service declined drastically. With only one person serving and a kitchen that couldn't produce food quickly enough we waited for nearly an hour after our starters were finished. We gave up after another 30 minutes of trying to order a dessert. If they could sort out the delays this would be a firm recommendation. The restaurant is only small and reservations are a must, I'd recommend going early to avoid the worst of the wait.

Fidèles à cet établissement depuis sa création, revenons toujours avec autant de plaisir pour déguster des mets toujours aussi savoureux les uns que les autres, dans un cadre agréable avec un accueil des plus sympathique. A recommander vivement. Un "Must" à Saumur!

If the restaurant is full, service can be a tad slow, but you have your table for the night so why not just chill and enjoy the experience.
