As a local although expat I often have friends and family visiting. This restaurant comes really handy as the day menu is cheap (14€) and its very central.
I have come twice and both times it was bittersweet: the food is surprisingly good, very "French" but also modern and creative. Its actually the reason why the place was given a second chance.
The problem here is the service as they are arrogant and rude. The first time the server said to us several times that we had a discount because of booking online, and upon payment this was denied with no apology more than "he is new". The second time we had been waiting for 30 minutes for our main dish. All other clients, most of whom had arrived after us, had been already served. When we pointed this out we were rudely told that they were "workers in their pause" (as we were, despite being foreign).
I believe this disrespect is both because of our age (early thirties) and being foreign.

La nourriture est bonne, fraîche et sans trop de chichi.

L'entrée (foie gras aux fruits) était bonne mais le foie juste poêlé pas assez à mon goût. Le plat (filet de turbot aux légumes) présentait des légumes un peu trop croquants. Le dessert (un dôme au chocolat et glace vanille) était relativement lourd. Le service est sans surprise. Bons plats mais un peu ennuyeux au niveau ambiance. Service correct classique.

Une petite soirée avec notre fille super sympa. Une salle intimiste et un cadre feutré. Nous avons mangé de très bons produits bien cuisinés et présentés. Service sympa et bien géré. Peu de choix sur la carte mais d'une qualité d'exception. Nous essayerons de revenir. Fabienne Thierry et Gwenaelle
