We rented a car from Sixt Basel for our vacation in Basel and Alsace. The process was very easy and we were greeted by a very friendly lady at the desk that asked us what type of car we'd like to have within our category - a Mazda, a Renault or a Fiat 500x. She also asked if we preferred gasoline or Diesel cars and we asked her what she would recomment of the three cars. She recommended the Fiat 500X and we loved it! It was impeccably clean and almost brand new. The car was a pleasure to drive and we very much enjoyed it for the 10 days that our vacation lasted. She also offered us maps and was helpful with directions from Basel to Dietwiller, where we'd be staying. When we returned the car, it was easy and went quickly. Our recommendation though to others would be to secure directions to the Swiss sector of Euro Airport as it can be a bit confusing to get to this sector by car from the French sector. We called Sixt Basel, got the GPS coordinates at once and plugged them into the Fiat's navigation system. Finding them after this was easy. Thanks for a good rent! We'll definitely be renting from you another time.

Not advisable when you are in a rush. One sorry looking guy handling all the business, phone calls, car return and pickups is just not good enough. Spent more than half an hour to pick up a car that was paid for and all information already supplied online.

A great company to deal with staff were attentive and smiling! I returned the vehicle with only 30 minutes before my flight and with an empty tank staff took the keys and said that they would do it for me. Obviously they will charge but the keys were taken and the young lady even took the time to make sure I knew where to go. I will be using this company again.
