Milý mladík na přepážce, velmi akceptovatelná úroveň angličtiny, původně jsem chtěl vrátit auto v jiném místě, než na letišti, pak jsem ale vracel na letišti. Tato změna přijata s úsměvem, ne-li nadšením (asi jsem personálu ušetřil práci s transportem)
Fungují opravdu dobře, narozdíl od Herz, když jsem jednou zapomněl v autě klíče a narazil na opravdový problém. Nebyli ochotni klíče poslat, musel jsem požádat o pomoc mého obchodního partnera. :(

Coming from Sweden, we had a reservation for a car. Sixt needed an amount of 2000 euro that they could debit the card in case, but it was not possible for any of our 3 cards we tried (even though it was possible at Europcar later). This might have been a technical issue, but we spent over an hour at the Sixt desk with horrible service. We were laughed at and the only suggested solutions would have cost us a lot more than the reservation. Definitely the last time we're reserving a car in France with Sixt.

The child seat was a joke. 45 euro for something you can buy for 20 euro. An extra star for the car, that was better than expected.

I have rented from Sixt many times and I have always had positive experience although that was in different countries. This time I rented a vehicle at the bordeaux airport, picked it up in the evening, walked around the vehicle quickly as it was dark in the open parking lot and could barely see anything. I did not see anything wrong with the vehicle. One week passed and I used the vehicle without any problem. Nobody noticed anything even my wife who is extremely detailed oriented. When I returned it, the employee from Sixt noticed that the front right part of the vehicle was uneven. I could not even see it. I had to put my fingers on it to see that it was not completely flat. There was no scratches, nothing. I told them I was not responsible for it. The employee from Sixt asked me to sign and said "don't worry, they will probably put it on the previous driver"...hmm
Well they did not and 3 weeks later I received a 700 Euros invoice. I explained again I was not responsible but it did not matter to them. I would like them to spend as much time looking at the car before it departs than they do when it returns. I had never seen a person spending that much inspecting a car. I have rented a lot of cars before and I have never seen anything like that. I could ask my credit card company to pay for it but It's the principle that bothers me as I really feel like I am being robbed.

Late night pick-up, around 23, was very fast and we got a nice upgrade. The parking lot is convenianteley just outside the terminal. Drop-off also quick and uncomplicated. The girl in the parking lot cabin did a quick inspection of the car and then we were off to our plane.

When I approached the desk at the airport, deposit amount that was discussed over the phone has doubled and was now 2000 euros plus double the rental. Have you heard of 2800 deposit for a midsize car? I agreed to that anyway, now they could not accept any of my credit cards. HSBC bank advertisement was right next to us, when they told me that their card won't work. I guess they had a "good reason" not to rent a car to me. Nearby AVIS sorted me out instansaneously without any issue and at a better rate. My email complaint fell on deaf ears.
