Rented a small Opal in October 2016. This Sixt office charged me almost twice my rental cost for no reason. When I returned the car we had to force the guy at the desk to come out and check the car. He gave me the all ok before I left. When I checked my bank statement they had charged me almost double the rental fee with no explanation. Currently trying to sort this out by its near impossible to deal with their customer service. I will be using an alternative option when renting a car in Lyon and would not recommend this service to anyone travelling through this airport.

Fidèle client de Sixt Saint Exupery, je suis très satisfait du service qu'il propose. L’équipe entière est a l’écoute des clients et leur parc automobile est de loin le plus complet du marche. Une valeur sur!!!

I rent car from Lyon station carpark Return at the airport .
At pick up nobody was at the car park for inspection also no documents from any existing damage etc.
At the end I get charged 463e for little mark at the back bumper with I didn't do
Check photo (hard to even see). ;( Never ever again SIXT
Think twice before get car from them.... Or full insurance needed....

Got a lift back to airport in order to check-in just 2 minutes before closing. Excellent service.

We were really glad to have chosen Sixt Lyon Aéroport ! It's easy to be reached by the free airport shuttle bus, the station is very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We got a brand new Renault Kadjar with automatic, diesel and GPS, even though we had not chosen these extra options.
To get the car and to bring it back was unbelievably quick.
All in all it was a really great experience!

Car returned at Lyon St Exupéry. Cleared by the employee (thumbs up, "c'est bon", i guess it means everything is OK)
Some days later, I receive an e-mail stating that further damages were found in the car. 2 minor scratches, nothing important. Some days later, i emphasize: impossible to verify. Remember, the car was cleared by Sixt personnel when it was returned. And then, of course about 30€ charged on the credit card.
I'll not discuss the legal aspects. That's not the point, and I'm pretty sure the contract (which now, at least my copy, probably lies in some paper recycle factory) allows Sixt to do what it did. I'll discuss the behavior, instead: the point is that damage inspection was carried out, unilaterally when I was already 2000 km away and not upon delivery. And that, in my opinion, is wrong.
Shame on you, Sixt.

Excellent, fast and friendly service, final price had no surprise, their car selection is excellent. Staff was very helpful in helping me choose the car. Easy to get to their location using the airport shuttle and there's a gas station right next door. It was my first time with Sixt but they became my favorite rental agency.

Manifestement l'entreprise manque de professionnalisme, j'ai déjà connue des déceptions fasse à des prestataires de service mais là je suis au sommet, je vous souhaite du courage et beaucoup de patience fasse à des personnes aussi peu qualifiées : autant embaucher un robot. Une entreprise tel que "Sixt" devrait pourtant avoir les moyens de payer des formations.... Il faudrait réellement revoir le SAV car franchement la technique n'est pas au point.
