Hotel is not pretentious, but is really good for a good night sleep and great breakfast. The location is amazing, super close to the train station and bars and restaurants. -1 star for no toiletries only a dispenser for soap/shampoo (which is becoming normal in Europe).

Really nice Hotel next to the lake and In the center of Annecy. Very friendly reception that really wanted to help. Reasonable priced as well. Recommended!

A lovely hotel in a gorgeous place, the service was excellent and very friendly. The rooms are equipped with tea and coffee maker and the breakfast was tasty. We will come back.

Excellent accommodations and service. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the location is perfect, and Sylvia, at the front desk, is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best that we have had so far (two weeks in to our travels in France) and Splendid Hotel has been our favorite place to stay. Thank you for the hospitality! We will return!

Perfect location! Easy to find, and easy to park at the "parking de l'Hotel de Ville" across the street. Modern, comfortable rooms, and a great view of the canals from our window.
