This site is British run and caters for all types of camping and offers some mobile home rental too. BUT the main reason people come here is the FISHING there are two Carp Lakes with good stocks of Fighting French Carp . There are also stocks of Roach and Tench
As with all French fishing as the lakes are NOT river fed they do not require a fishing licence
The site is around 1 mile from Montendre (and 9 miles from Mirambeau and the Autoroute A10 exit 36), the main shopping areas and over 300m from the road so gets really quiet - so at night there is a bar, TV room, Poole table (1€)
The site gets lots of repeat customers and if you like peace and quiet with Carp Fishing this is the place to escape to we have our favourite pitch there

We have been to Twin lakes on many occasions. Why do we keep going back? The answer to that is simple...peace, tranquilty, freindly and inviting owners, no silly rules other than enjoy yourself and don't disturb other's peace.
The site is less than two miles from Montendre, a village that has everything you could need including, fuel, supermarkets, restaurants, vet, fishing tackle shop.
On site are two well stocked fishing lakes, bar, lounge, swimming pool, woodland walk, playing field, showers, toilets.
The site is perfect for people with disabilities and all facilities are supplied to aid you so that you can enjoy your stay.
The site is open all year round and there are well drained pitches with EHU (Electric Hook Up).

Great site near montrende with railway !inks into Bordeaux. Fishing lake stocked with monster carp. Bar always open and Gary is happy for you go use his car to go shopping

Great site with all the amenities plus sitè owners runs a great bar !!
