The place is simply as good as it can get: for the wannabe Gatsbys-on-a-budget, who can't afford the luxurious Hôtel du Cap, a.k.a. "Eden Rock" where all the stars from the Cannes Film Festival sleep. Yes for one or two hundred euro bills, you'll be able to sleep whithin flying distance from Bruce Willis, Sharon Stone et al. Precision : if my memory is correct, the scuba diving instructor at the hotel also works for the Hôtel du Cap, which means you might share some gossips on the Hollywood stars he taught. It's a bit like a motel out of "Barton Fink", a bit rundown, but sooo charming. However friendly the hotel managers are, don't expect any gift : I was shocked when after ordering some "menthe à l'eau" i.e. mint syrup with water, I had to pay like six euros, just because I asked for more water ;-)
However cheap that may sound, I will come again! There's no better access to the wonderful meditarrean sea (don't eat there, the choice is so much better in Antibes).
