Carine and her husband run this lovely gem with so much passion for high quality local food and authentic cusine that it is hard not to fall in love with the restaurant. We have always been welcomed with open arms by Carine and enjoyed every single meal. We have been returning to the resturant regularly for almost 6 years now. We often invite fourgein guest to eat and stay there and they have all been very happy. Well worth a visit.

In short: good food, lovely people and very fair prices

Excellent food at reasonable prices for the quality. We had lunch. The children ate the same as us, but we would share anyhow we wanted, which kept one child with a "free" meal. Everything was good, very good and mostly great. Well worth going to if you are anywhere within a couple of hundred kilometres. They can make a reasonable children's menu if needed as well

Perfect place for a weekend and the food is wonderful. Situated near the foot of Mount Lure, Cruis (in the low season) has all the elements for a peaceful stay in a tiny french village. At the very least, I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to enjoy dinner at the auberge.

Un week-end formidable à Cruis à l'auberge de Guillaume et Zahava Pistono ou nous avons organisé une fête de famille. Un dîner succulent, très fin (agneau confit fondant...au top), avec de bons produits du pays, une nuit très reposante dans des chambres confortables et propres et pour finir un brunch riche et trop bon ! Les gérants sont aux petits soins et dont tout pour rendre le séjour agréable. Vraiment un très beau séjour à refaire !

No question. The two young owners deserve all the praise. Incredible times both nights. Food is incredible. Location beautiful. Service impeccable. Go.
