A bit pretentious. My son and I stopped for a light lunch which was not what the place was aimed at providing. We ordered cote de boeuf which was a dish to share for 2 at €45. We didn't want entries or dessert which they seemed surprised at, and asked several times if we wanted dessert. We had a small beer each (100ml) which were €6.5 each when we got the bill. We had a glass of wine each which was €5 each. Altogether everything was quite nice, just not great value for money.

The room itself was fine, but no air conditioning was available in the room.

Dinner - the beef "from the local butcher" was tough and fatty and we left most of it. No notice was taken when I mentioned this to the waitress though.

Reception was supposed to be manned at 6:30 am, but nobody arrived until after 7. Breakfast from Monday - Saturday was from 7 am according to the room information. This was not the case and the receptionist who arrived after 7, brought some bits for breakfast as we had to leave early and could not wait for whenever the "proper" breakfast would be available.

Despite confirming on several occasions that there was a very safe / secure parking space for my rather special car, this was not the case and to make matters worse, a party for 85 guests was happening that evening - with guests parking around the car. My worst nightmare in other words.

Great Place ! Very typical dishes and great wine Menu. One of the best place to stay in the region.

Hôtel magnifique. Personnel accueillant et chaleureux. Les repas étaient excellents. A recommander ++
