Very friendly guys with beards run this place - they are passionate about food, cheese and wine! Very nice food in an informal relaxed setting very close to Le Palais de Papes. Also they are one of the few places open on Mondays in Avignon.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was outstanding, decor and ambiance is perfect and the service was good. The owner is very friendly and made sure that our experience was great. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Avignon. You won't be disappointed.

Charming service, good food, and lovely outside dinning in the square.
Restaurant was a bit difficult to find, but now that I know the name translates to "Tile of Cows" the sign board makes sense ☺️

Nous y avons été accueillie comme des princes. Jean Charles est avenant et fort sympathique. N'hésitez à lui demander conseil pour le vin - il a des bouteilles surprenantes

This is a bustling wine bar on a pedestrian street by the papal palace. The daily food and wine lists are written on chalkboards. The wine list presented a variety of interesting beverages. The daily menu presented many excellent choices, with selections to fill all sizes of appetites. The charcuterie was lovely, as were the crocks of melted cheese with various accompaniments. We would definitely return to this restaurant, even if only for a quick glass of wine.
