The menu which changes daily offered a choice of two starters /main course /desert as well as a good selection of local Cahor wines.

Le foie gras est vraiment au dessus de la moyenne

We shall go back during the evening and we know we will not be disappointed.

We had lunch there on the 28/5/15 and enjoyed every mouthful. The vegetables and sauces accompanying the dishes were superb and we were not alone in using the bread to clean our plate so as to not waste a drop.

The food is wonderful, well prepared and beautifully presented, with all of the ingredients sourced locally and fresh that day.

No longer Le Rendez-vous, the restaurant has recently reopened as Lucter - L'irreductible gaulois.
The décor is simple, clean and charming with plenty of space around tables.
The welcome is warm and friendly and the staff attentive and obliging.

This review is for Lucter, not Le Rendez-Vous -- apparently Google ties things to the address, not the name, but Le Rendez-Vous is gone, it is now Lucter. Really nice staff, great, creative cuisine, wonderful ambiance and very close to the cathedral -- great location. English was spoken, too

Une carte réduite est souvent l'assurance de plats bien cuisinés. Nous l'avons vérifié au LUCTER le 22 mai 2015.
La cuisson des viandes comme des poissons est maîtrisée. La présentation est soignée, on ne sort pas gavé. Le service est impeccable. La possibilité de prendre du vin au verre (Cahors) permet de prendre du blanc et/ou du rouge et de reprendre la route.
J'y retourne dès que je passe à Cahors.
