A barrier has recently been erected to prevent pilgrims kissing the stone and leaving lipstick marks. A shame, as the glass surround takes away somewhat from the beauty of the tomb.

It's worth a visit, but unlike the good ole' days, don't count on lathering up your lipstick and planting a big fat one on his tombstone. This thing has security cameras up and it is considered a crime to slap those lips of yours on that tombstone. So please, just window shop and don't touch, just like you tell your kids to do.

9 years ago, I red lipped the bare stone. This time, there's a glass wall around, so we left kissed metro tickets instead. RIP

This is what it is. Go see the tomb of Victor Noir instead. You won't be disappointed.

Worth place to visit. Lipsticks on the tomb are sweet.

Radically different to most of the tombs and graves to be found here, Wilde's is ornamented by a large modernist angel, and inscribed with a verse from one of his famous works, The Ballad Of Reading Gaol.

Happy to see the thomb hasn't being vandalized , a great visit for those who value his work. A must see at Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris
