Beautiful very well maintained garden! Must visit. The pathways are made of perfectly cut grass, on which you can walk bare-foot. Many different garden styles, including a maze! We spent hours here. The owner is happy to explain a thing or two about gardening, he speaks English.

The Camassia meadows were particularly stunning, as were the white bluebells dotted around the garden. The Rain garden with its gazebo and bridge is very magical and appealed to our romantically minded teenagers.

This place is not wheelchair or baby-stroller friendly. Use a baby-carrier instead.

We visited Berchigranges in the middle of May, at a period when the garden was in a bit of a lull, flower-wise, and it was still one of the most beautiful and skilfully planted gardens I have ever seen, up there with Great Dixter and the now sadly defunct Sticky Wicket. Impeccable naturalistic planting combined with bold topiary (the maze! The Jardin des Dames! The sweeping curved Pyrus Salicifolia hedge!) make Berchigranges a truly magical place with a lot of panache. Why there aren't hordes of people waiting at the gate can only be explained by the remote location. I would very much love to return during various seasons.

Je me souviens d'un après-midi relaxant que j'ai passé dans cet incroyable jardin, dont les propriétaires œuvrent au maximum pour offrir à leur clientèle les plus belles balades au milieu de paysages floraux fort agréables. Venez admirer le travail des jardiniers ! Vous ne serez pas déçus !

Sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Perfekt für einen entspannten Tag im Grünen. Unbedingt Barfuß-Laufen - so einen weichen Rasen findet man nicht oft. Nicht ganz günstig, aber trotzdem einen Ausflug wert.

These gardens are stunning! One of the nicest mountain gardens I've ever been to. The combination of wild and manicured is perfectly balanced. Not sure why there isn't a dozen hotels overlooking this little slice of paradise. The tour guide is a super friendly very old sheep dog. You'll want to experience the tour while it is still around. :-)

Lieu enchanteur, à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte si vous êtes près de Gérardmer ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants .

Very well maintained garden. You are allowed to walk bare feet through the finely mown grass. There are ponds, trees, benches, mazes and of course beautifully flowers, butterflies and bees. I could spend my whole day here... were it not for that strange toilethouse in the middle. It has no seat. So all is maintained well, the small room is not. Fortunately it was clean.
