6. In calling the phone number, you are actually calling the cell phone number of the driver. He will tell you where the shuttle stops (A2, for arrivals at terminal 2). After calling, the shuttle arrived in about 5-10 minutes.

4. The agency knows when your flight arrives and will arrange for a shuttle bus to come and get you. However, as it is not clear at what frequency the shuttle busses come (nor where to find the shuttle) you will probably need to call them.

Terrible.never again. They gave us a car with broken needle indicator for the fuel(it's everything ok they told us...) When returning back the car, still we reminded themail staff that the indicator wasn't pointing full(because of the problem), but it actually was... everything OK! They told us again!!!
Result: we have been refunded fews days later, only 22 eur from the 80 eur we gave as a deposit... because "we didn't full filled the fuel tank deposit "
No emails, no calls have been attended accordingly.
At the end, we feel they we have been stolen.
Never again Gold Car. For us and for everyone we know.

Edit: Having read the poor reviews concerning the insurance, etc, I should note that I reserved this car through a third party that included all insurance for damages and prepaid gas. If you rent directly from the company, you might want to be more careful about the fine print.

Before renting from GoldCar, you should be aware of several points.

Worst car rental company ever. They are rude and left us with out transportation to the airport. Do not use this company spend the money on a better company.

1. Even though the rental agreement states that they are located at the Nice Airport, their agency is not located at the airport rental car facility.

5. In calling the GoldCar phone number on our rental agreement (on a sunday) we got a recorded message in French and English telling us to call another number to arrange a pick up. The message was difficult to understand in both French and English, and I needed to call three times to write the full phone number down (the number was only read once on the recording).

A good 5 minutes drive from the airport and thay hard sell the extra insurance that you don't want. Only car hire company I have been to that has 10 people behind the desk and security walking around

In summary: If you are aware of all the above issues then you will get a good price. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we had no problems with the car. Nevertheless, it is extremely unfortunate that GoldCar does not clearly explain the above issues on their website, on the pre-paid rental agreement, nor with simple signs at the airport. I would imagine that if this was your first trip to Nice, and if you didn't speak French, that the experience could have been extremely frustrating.

Stay away! Thiefs! Even one star is to much.
Bad customer care also! We had to pay for a full tank twice, at pick up AND at return.

3. There is no sign at the airport stating that GoldCar renters need to take a shuttle, and there is no sign stating where to get the shuttle. We only found out where to go by asking the employee of one of the official airport rental agencies.

Reasonable price and good car! They where far beyond cheaper than the bigger companies.
They doesn't have that many offices nearby airport.

2. In order to get to the GoldCar facility, you need to take a shuttle bus that is offered by GoldCar, and which takes about 5-10 minutes.
