If you want to buy wine in France and don't want to be faced with the bunkers of Calais. Jump in the car for 15 minutes and head to Ardres. Guy and his staff are extremely helpful, friendly and talk about wine in an open and unpatronising way, even if you are a wine novice. Been here many times and never had a bad bottle. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer of Guy Boursot for many years. He has a very professional approach demonstrating his lifelong experience in the Wine business. His advice is well worth heeding and I for one,return regularly to purchase the same wines he recommended years ago. The shop is situated in Ardres just a few minutes drive from Calais and a visit will reward you.I might see you there as I usually go on a Thursday so as to coincide my visit with the weekly market.

Travelled to France for a large wine purchase for an event in the UK. Great experience and advice trying a few targeted wines that allowed us to make a terrific selection. Friendly helpful service and lovely lunch spots all around.
