Journée très agréable avec les enfants. Pas de voiture donc sécurisé. Visite guidée gratuite avec Anne-Marie (guide très agréable et disponible). Accessible aux poussettes malgré le sable. Possibilité d'atelier enfants mais pas testé. L'accès par le train est une bonne idée pour admirer le paysage typique de pins des Landes. À recommander et à refaire sans hésiter.

TIP 3 Very young children will be bored and fractious - it's not a theme park, there are no rides or slides. Ages 7 and above.

But the fact that we keep coming back tells you something very important: it's worth it.

From catching the little olde-worlde train to get here, to peering inside the old houses and farm buildings, to walking around the lovely grounds and to learning (re-learning!) so much about life in the past, it's a great experience.

Belle expérience. Ferme entre 12 et 14h après saison. Dommage. Il faut aller avec un guide, compris dans le prix pour avoir une meilleure compréhension du lieu et mode de vie. Entrée un peu chère

Nice atmosphere, you really get the idea how it was back in the end of the 19th century, living in an ancient French village.

TIP 1 Find out the times of the little train that takes you there, otherwise you'll be waiting at the station with nothing to do (there is no road access)

How many years have we been coming here? Too many to count!

TIP 2 Buy the fresh-baked bread made from flour milled on the premises - gorgeous!

Sehr schönes Museum über die Geschichte der Region. Sehr weitläufig, aber dennoch alles gut erreichbar. Die Fahrt mit dem Zug zum Gelände ist für kleine Gäste ein Highlight.
