A fun, well run 'proper pub' . Worth a diversion to see the French, Anglos and others mix together, especially on Loris' quiz nights. A nice place if you crave a pint amidst the super French culture around you. Attracts students from nearby colleges.

One of the best British Pubs in Bordeaux !! There're a bunch of HDTV's for sport, a 2nd floor with pool table, and dart board, and lots of seating. Their large terrace is perfect for a sunny day pint or an early evening apero. And the pub gets wild at night with live music on most Fridays and Saturdays. Even though I don't live close, the HMS has still become my 'local'. The pub and the staff are just awesome.
Plus, there are always tons of English (and French) speakers so meeting people just happens naturally.

Is a student bar at victoire, nice cocktails how ever is usually very crowded so ordering drinks could take a lot of time, since it is self service.
Good music and they make live concerts.
