You feel home when you stay at this great family hotel. People are smiley, happy to help with any requests and very friendly. Facilities are great: the sauna and hammam are just delightful after a good day of skiing; the restaurant/food is top class (high and fine quality, just the right portions and very tasteful). The lounge and the bar are cosy with a 180 degree view on the valley.

I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to spend quality time in a ski resort. The first ski-lift is reachable by just crossing the road.

Buiten het winterseizoen is Alpe d'Huez een slapend dorpje waar alleen nog wielrenners te vinden zijn. Daardoor draaien de hotels op halve kracht, je hebt een kamer, die prima is, je kan ontbijten maar diner moet je in het dorp scoren en andere faciliteiten zijn buiten gebruik. Voor de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar en de uitstraling van het hotel daarom 3 sterren.

Personnel agréable et serviable. L'hotel est plutôt cosy mais toutes les chambres ne se valent pas. Il y en a des jolies et confortables mais aussi des très petites. Bien que le ménage soit fait tous les jours, il y a de la poussière dans les armoires et les couvre-lit sont sales. Les repas sont bons mais rien de transcendant. En résumé, le prix s'explique surtout par rapport à la belle vue et l'accès aux pistes.
