Room had a very European style to it. Beds were ok. Toilets were working. TV had good reception. The people working there were very friendly.

The hotel goes for the rustic look by making each of its hotel rooms themed. However, while it does seem fairly unique, it can at times come off as an attempt to hide a dated interior. The decoration is very unique and will not feel like your usual chain hotel experience.

We had a great time! The Mogador room was beautiful with an amazing view! I highly recommend it. Very attentive and helpful staff, felt very comfortable and welcome.

The hotel is situated within an easy walk of the main train terminal. There are also metro and bus stops nearby. There are grocers and "fast food" as well as sit-down restaurants very near. The staff is courtious and polite and they speak English for thise who need it. There are 2 breakfast options which are both good for the price. My room had all of the amenities i am accustomed to in American style hotels. My room had AC though I did not need it.

Great hotel, would definitely stay here again. Super lovely and helpful staff (we got lost on our arrival day and Muhammed came looking for us and accompanied us to the car park and to the hotel after. This was all way after midnight and he still took the time to explain the sights of Marseille to us on the map before we went to sleep. Customer experience at its best!). The room was tastefully decorated and clean, we enjoyed the little balcony a lot. It's well located to go to Course Julien as well as all the sights but at the same it's in a quiet street.
I read on TripAdvisor that people complained that there are sometimes prostitutes in the street. Frankly, this won't have any impact on you unless you really want to be bothered by that. It's super discrete and there is no problem what so ever. I think if I haven't read that beforehand I wouldn't even have realized it. The only suggestion I'd have for the hotel is to make a bit better use of the lovely backyard garden. It's mainly used for serving breakfast to the guests. In my view, it could be a really charming place to enjoy their tea range on a very hot afternoon in peace and quiet. Anyways, keep up the great work, I will recommend LeRyad to my friends and family.

We loved staying at Le Ryad. The hotel is very nice, close to everything and the staff is extraordinary helpful, friendly and nice. Our room with the terrace was cosy and furnished and painted in a maroccan style with nice douche colors. We felt at home at once and will definately come back. Its a small hotel with few rooms in a very nice house and with a oasian like garden. Breakfast was good and french. There are lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood, many shops with special things and all the big and wellknown shops and the nice harbour are also very close to the hotel. We recommand Le Ryad to everybody who likes to stay in a small individually hotel where everything works and the staff is dedicated to their job.
