We arrived at the Mercure for an overnight stay on the last leg of a continental rail trip. Within minutes of getting our room keys we were all back at reception complaining about the excessive heat in our rooms. So hot it was hard to draw breath! There was no apology and the excuse was the air conditioning had been turned off for the winter! In consequence, no-one was able to sleep which was annoying as we had a very early start to catch the Eurostar in Paris. Also the food was quite dismal. So Nil Poins for the Mercure

1.The air conditioner was not cooling and they refused to change my room.
2.The room smells bad
3.The breakfast ist far from the level of other hotels of the same level
4. Bad service of staff on the reception

Hôtel bien placé. La réception et le lobby sont agréable. Pour la chambre sans plus je n'ai pas aimé le réfrigérateur directement dans la chambre . En revanche bonne literie.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, recommended.

Placé idéalement face à la gare.
L'hôtel a bénéficié d'une belle rénovation.
Nouveau restaurant et chambre refaite.
Avec en bonus une salle de musculation et sauna.
Directeur sympathique et bienvaillant.
