Oldest surviving inn in France from 1345 serving high quality dishes with modern flavours and offering traditional French dishes. Excellent service, enormous cheese and wine selection. Subdued lighting and small scale adds to the overall ambience. A place to go and relax and take a few hours over your meal. It's not cheap but worth the cost to enjoy this quality of food, service and atmosphere.

all was very good. Very cozy and relaxing place. The quality of the food is exceptional and the taste is exquisite. Very well cooked. The presentation of the dishes is perfect. Personally, I consider that the quantity of the dishes is small (except for the deserts with a good quantity)... although, it can be enough for someone who is not much to eat.

The food and the history are both great... I give this place (1) star to ensure you realize before going here that the server we had definitely hates Americans.... We could not have been more polite and watched him ignore us and a table of students from China all night. So... If you go, understand some of the staff are prejudice. We alerted the owner in a polite manner and it was clear she was agitated by the feedback and swore he was just busy. (It wasn't a busy night...). #Lacouronnerouen

Had the fortunate experience of eating here during my stay in Rouen and can recommend, solely for the food. The interior design is dated and nothing impressive. The food was solid and was nicely prepared.
