I went to the "salles gosses" on recommendation from my Hotel (Lutetia) and was very happy. A daily menue with a nice mix of regional and general french food offered me the opportunity to sample some Alsatian staples, that lay a bit outside the standard. Both starter and main dish were delicious, slowly cooked with round, deep tast, carefully presented, good portions. Gentle service. The setting is agreeable. A great experience at very reasonable prices.
