The position of this monument, overlooking the valley of 'the pocket' gives you something of an insight into how things might have played out. Quite moving.

A well laid out memorial and museum to "the last Battle of Normandy". A brutal battle that helped finish the war in Normandy and allow the Allies to push on to Paris.

Really important history learnt during this visit. Hadn't realised how pivotal this battle was in the grand scheme of the war. Really enjoyed how they explain the progression of the attacks. Worth a visit!

Best museum in the normandy. Every other museum on the beach just tells the same and same again. They are all Allied-coloured and do not report neutral. (Yes, there are also some good ones :-) )

Lovely views, excellent though small memorial. Very interesting and informative Musium. Nice that it seems to change to display and talk every few years.

Lieu très bien conçu, intéressant aussi bien les passionnés d'histoire que les familles et les scolaires. Pas de tape-à l'oeil, la technologie est au service du visiteur. Guide-commentateur connaissant parfaitement son affaire.
Rien à redire, surtout ne rien changer (à part la vidéo qui mériterait un coup de neuf).

Très bien fait, permet de mieux comprendre la bataille de Normandie, A voir absolument.
