Fab museum, having read other reviews I wasn't sure how much we'd get but there's quite a lot translated into English and the audio guides were interesting too. Some of the newer displays are innovative allowing you to see inside car engines and under some of the earliest motor cars. If the cafe had been open we would have spent all day here but we started flagging after 3.5 hrs! Well worth a visit.

Super cool "machine" museum perfect for those who like to know "how things work." We even got a live demo of airplane wing mechanics from some French engineering students with excellent English. Very quiet and relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere makes it the perfect after-lunch stop or when you're between boisterous touristy sites.

If you are into science or engineering, you will enjoy this place.

Superb collection, some really rare items and most of the explanations have enough Anglais to get by, but one nasty staffmember yelling about not going down the ramp or up the stairs, only the reverse is permitted. So put a sign? No, you go see the Director!
Storms off when asked for a name.
The children were frightened.. they were trying to learn.
Some mean, aggressive staff who need sensitivity.

Great learning experience both for the kids and adults. Iconic objects from the history of technology, like Foucault's Pendulum, a Cray Supercomputer from 1985, a 19th century chemistry laboratory, the world's first robot vacuum, early planes and cars. A wonderful exhibit on machinery in comic book art had everyone enthralled. We spent four hours here and the kids didn't complain.

Marvelous displays of instrumentations of science. Lots of interesting objects that lead you through the stages and methods of discovery and invention.

If you are a science nerd, this is definitely the place for you. There's the worlds first particle accelerated (if I'm not mistaken), the Foucault Pendulum, and a lot of in depth information. They do have English translations for all the information.

Absolutely top notch. Excellent and well presented collection spanning 900 years or so. Easily worth two or three hours. Only negative was the (multiple) security guards talking loudly on their phones, clearly on personal calls.

I loved this museum. It is a large space (larger than I expected when I first went in.) It has a great collection. And it is well laid out.

Lovely museum with great exhibits and wonderful large rooms with beautiful cases and ceilings. Really loved this place. The staff were friendly and it was not crowded.

The placards are in French and have a much smaller English description. So it will help if you know French. I didn't try the audio guide, but kinda wished I would have.

Beautiful space, with interesting pieces like a cross-sectional trumpet and a machine that merely turns itself off again. Free for those students under 26, but limited English explanations in parts.

Museum of technologies, instruments and inventions. I found it to be very interesting. Among many fascinating exhibits from several centuries of history of science, you can find here real Foucault pendulum, model of the Statues of Liberty, old vehicles.
