Very expensive to visit the bunker 7,50€, no air inside, i was there like 10 minutes and i had to rush out! I understand the historycal value but there are so many places that worth a visit instead of this. The village is very nice however

Best example of a WW2 German defence command centre in Normandy. Everything is intact, just like the day the German troops surrendered. The surrender story is faithfully described (52 Germans and only 3 British solders) with no casualties as the Germans just gave up

I'd never expected to see a German WWII bunker in such a good state of preservation. The view from the range finder floor is stunning on a good day and, in historical context, chilling. There's a good selection of items and photos to see inside with interpretative panels.

The great bunker was both a gun placement guarding the D-Day beaches and a forward command post relaying information to Caen. Well worth an hour to visit as part of a D-Day beaches tour

Brilliantly preserved. Great view from the top of the coast. Full of information, well translated into English.
Shame about lack of free parking as advertised, but 2Euros for 2 hours on the nearby coast road (1-2min walk) - plenty else to see and do nearby. Stone's throw from the ferry terminal.

Loses a star for having no free parking as advertised on their website (unless you have a motorbike) and no soap in the toilets.

Very impressive bunker. When we visited it, there where not many tourists, but I can imagine its gets to crowded in the high season.
Nevertheless, impressive what the germans where able to develop in so short notice. Everything looked very well reconstructed and was guided by a lot off original photo material on the walls.
Well worth a visit, but if you want to visit other impressive bunkers, please also visit the bunker complex in Merville, maybe even more impressive with audio reconstructed sound of troups in the bunker while shooting a canon (don't forget to take earplugs with you!)

A bit on the pricey side compared to other museums here, but well worth it. The bunker is in great condition and there is lots and lots of weapons and other WWII material on display. In the yard you will find a landing boat two canons and two tanks + a tankjeep. The souvenir shops are hard to get out of
