Camping très calme et très agréable et propre et gérants sympathiques

Avoid at the weekend. There is likely to be a fête and the patrons are likely to put you right next to the noise and not invite you to the event. The music will be awful. You will have to listen to it until at least 1am.
There is a restaurant in Peyremale but no boulangerie. The nearest is 15 km down the hill in Bessèges. The patron will not tell you any of this.
The campsite happens to sit on a perfect stretch of water for swimming in, but you will have to fight for space with the swarms of children who use the site and possibly your life if, as happened to me, a group of those children decide to throw heavy rocks at you for fun while you take a swim.
The single decent toilet stinks, showers had not been cleaned.
Great potential, miserably managed. If you're stuck in the area, go to Bessèges or Drouilhèdes.
