Clean room, 6'6 bed (which seems to be a bit rare in France), Wi-Fi and friendly staff. Good place to stay cheaply.

I have been to the B&B hotel Bourges (1) and was very disappointed by the service, I have booked a non smoking room and the woman at the reception gave me a smoker room. When I arrived she was very cold and when I noticed that the room was smelling so bad i asked her gently that i cannot sleep in a smoker room when i have booked purposely a non smoker room, she told me that she cannot change as everything is computer managed. I ask her that if she cannot change my room i cannot sleep in her hotel as i hate the smell of cigarettes and i have booked a non smoker room so she should give me my money back. Only then she gave me another room, i have to add that the hotel seemed fast unoccupied what i found very strange. This woman named Sylvie something is very cold. Later on my ex-boyfriend came to see me and she followed him to know exactly in which room his was going and so on.....very strange woman and very strange hotel....I will never ever come back hier, even if it is the last hotel in the world

Always great value for money but this hotel was a bit tired - better to stay in Bourges1 which is right next door and newer...
