If you are in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower and you don't have dinner reservations somewhere else then you will be accommodated at Café Constant. The food is standard French bistro food, it is rustic yet has a nice presentation. The cost of dinner for two people (entree and plat) with wine and dessert was 90€.

A Parisian restaurant next to the Eiffel Tower, Cafe Constant is on the Michelin Guide and is owned by French chef Christian Constant. If you have read my previous blog posts, you might already know by now that I love this red soup and that sweet softness. The former was cool and refreshing, while the latter was good but not one of the best I have had; the salted was better than the caramel in this case. However, I really loved the batter-fried vegetables. They made vegetables more exciting for me (although granted, less healthy); I was surprised that it even made them stand out among the other dishes which are among my favorites.

A small cozy place. We had a glass of wine at the bar while we waited about 30 minutes for a table. The Pickled artichoke and mushroom salad was so fresh and amazing! We also ordered the Free Range Roasted Chicken and the Veal Cutlet. Initially they brought me the wrong dish, but were quick to fix the problem when I brought it to their attention. The chicken was a tad dry, but good flavor. The veal was really tender, however the Tarbais beans were a little bland. All in all, definitely a good place to visit! Not outrageously priced. 2 people, 3 glasses of wine, 1 starter, 2 dishes, about ‎€69

Had the steak & chicken mains, both were very good and the service was excellent! Tried the chocolate 'quenelles' which were delicious, texture was similar to cool smooth butter. Would definitely come back next time.

Casual and of a very high standard. I had lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I choose a starter, a main and a glass of wine my total came to 40 euro and I was thoroughly satisfied.

Walked in, late, but restaurant was very crowded. We're seated at the bar and had an excellent experience. Service was amiable, prompt and unobtrusive. The food was very well prepared, the ingredients fresh, the flavors magnifique. Not an inexpensive place, but worth what you experience. If the nearby restaurant we had reserved hadn't closed without notice due to flooding, we would have missed this great place. Would go back again.

I had the cream of lobster and a cod fish. The cream of lobster was especially tasty and I was very impressed.

We arrived around 7:30pm and were able to be seated right away upstairs (the place was completely full about a half hour later). The service was very good and the food was excellent! Will definitely stop in again during our next trip to Paris.

We heard of this place through Rick Steve's book. Our waiter was amazing- friendly and joked around. The food was amazing as well. I especially loved this chocolate dessert that was mousse-like and was in a bath of what I think was a mixture of condensed milk and milk. I still think about it.

This place is adorable, it's not too far from the tower but a nice spot outside of the touristy circle. It's tiny on the first floor and to a North American the table is ridiculously small and close to one another (not complaining). It was so tight the aussies at the next table and us literally "had" to talk because we were almost sitting on one another
