Unfriendly and very expensive for tourists - 81 euros for 3 rounds of drinks (beers and soft drinks) and 3 plates of chips!

I spent a few hours a day here over a summer, writing a novel - I ended up in Lyon because Paris was too expensive, and I can't say I felt the city lacked anything. I only drank little espressos - France is expensive, and the cafe is no exception. But I liked the feel of the place, with its marble-topped tables and red leather seating.

This place is a joke. Barman/waiter thought he was being funny bringing us one glass of wine because we didn’t order two glasses in perfect French. Wine and beer were overpriced and the food was below ordinary. I think this place hates tourists and does its best to piss them off. There seemed to be plenty of locals there. Our only bad experience in Lyon. Avoid at all costs.

Don't go there!!! Rude, expensive, watery orange juice, dirty spoon and so on.

If you don't mind paying 9.20 eu for a small beer and a bad cup of watery coffee then this is the place for you. There was no obviously displayed menu or price list. On complaining the waiter produced another bill that had gone down to 8.75 eu. Just a warning if there is no menu with clear prices and you dont have good commamd of the language enter at your own risk. I really thought this kind of stuff had disappeared. This was the only one of its kind we encountered.
