Beyond the mediocre, expensive coffee, the service at the bar is not very friendly, either. They are like robots with attitude.
On the positive side, the hot chocolate is good (again, expensive) and the room upstairs is cozy... But frankly, there are other cozy places in Lille (I live here) with better coffee and better service and better prices.
Can you imagine? When there is a coffee Renaissance going on everywhere else in Europe and the US, they are using a POD machine??!

Avoid. Not only is the coffee somewhat bitter and weak, it's also more expensive than any other espresso bar I've ever been to, AND but the espresso shots come from pods ("dosettes")– not fresh ground coffee!

Good coffee and nice merveilleux, but a VERY BAD service. Personal was rude multiple times and tried to kick us out as soon as we finished our coffee and merveilleux.
