This campsite is an example of how to get it right! The facilities are spotless and cleaned regularly. They have invested in a nice modern sanitary block with hairdryers! Toilet roll is included :)
The pitches are grassy, spacious, flat and have incredible views of la Meije. There are also several washing lines for campers to use. The site is so pretty with flowers and trees. The pool is lovely and refreshing!
The campsite doesn't have a shop but the village (5 min walk) has everything you need and is charming. The bakery makes some of the best bread we had in France. There are loads of paths just out of the gate for walking, mountain biking etc and there is a rafting company next door. The alpine gardens (15 min drive) are worth a visit as is the cable car.
We don't often find a site we could stay on for more than 2 nights but this place is heavenly and a week would be ideal. All this for less than €20 per night for 2 adults is amazing value for money.

Stunning setting next to a river and looking up at the Meije glaciers. All the facilities were modern, clean including a really nice pool area. The village is a short stroll from the campsite, ideal for a morning croissant. There is also a well stocked shop and a few restaurants and bars in the village.

It was great to be there, the place is like heaven, the sites are beautiful and breathtaking, it was wonderful to be there.
Wish I could go there more often...

Finally, the campsite owner is amazing! We lost our car keys on the mountain (If you happen to find them please let us know). She went beyond the call of duty to help with various arrangements and accommodated us beyond our intended stay.

You will struggle to find a campsite with a better view. Amazing! The facilities are all very clean and modern. Its a short but steep walk up into town, were everything you need is. Only two complaints - We went in August so obviously a busy time but everyone was packed in, but it was a quite site so not really much of a problem. Second the putting golf is very difficult!
