September 2016 Update: the metamorphosis is complete, from an old tired Spar comes a bright and shiny Carrefour Contact. Considering its size, there is plenty of choice, it looks clean and welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Is it time to cut the apron strings with the larger-but-further-away supermarkets? Might be, we'll see

June 2016 update: this has now become a Carrefour Contact, about to be remodelled. The goods and fuel are both cheaper and opening hours have been extended.

August 2016 update: this place is getting quite good, I'm using it often, certainly much more than when it was spar. A bit (a lot) of cosmetic work is still needed. Fruit and veg are SO MUCH BETTER yay!

Fuel is not very cheap, so if you're already in your car, you may as well go to one of the three larger, newer, better supermarkets within 10km ** see Julyt 2016 update)
