Staff need better training. This visit was for after sales service which really was not acceptable. Great store if you know what you want but don't expect any practical help.

We bought 2 wood burning stoves and we were under the impression we could pick them up the next day ,however not being able to speak much French we misunderstood. A lovely lady called Patricia helped us enormously and arranged for us to pick them up the next day .She could have walked away and not helped us but she went out of her way to assist us .She was a star and we will definitely be back to shop at Castorama

Pretty good hardware store. The garder center is completely separate.

Brand new buildings, very fancy and more amenable for the average diy buyer. Should have everything you need but they never seem to carry much stock. Also they tend to suffer from Internet problems so expect a bit of hanging around. With new building format staff are sometimes confused as to where things are so expect frustrated staff.

HUGE store with plenty of choice. Since the refurbishment the staff is friendlier.

A huge place to buy everything for house and garden renovation, construction, for heavy stuff, cement, bricks etc you have a drive in!

Vast selection of products, great customer service but need to keep an eye on the prices and sometimes they don't always have what you are looking for.

Quite complicated to find things around here, the place is huge and not well divided up, also prices are quite expensive and the leroy merlin which is not far away is cheaper, smaller and better organized.
