Great relaxed atmosphere, especially for a 17th Century Chateau. The golf course is outstanding, even though the first and last holes are simple but surreal, inside the chateau walls. The 1st is very simple; short 4, like playing in a walled golf range. BUT; what comes next is 16 holes of Augusta. Great bar, under a brick barrelled roof. Extraordinary, testing, beautiful, relaxed... you'll never forget it!

This must be a truly magnificent place to visit in summer. We visited in April & paid €12 for the gardens, but half of the gardens were sealed off, the fountains drained/not operational, cafe closed.

Admission tickets have a hefty price of 25 EUR. It's not possible to visit only the castle, but visiting only the gardens will costs less. Be aware that it is not possible to pay with (credit) card (yes this review was written in 2017) and that the nearest ATM is over 10km away. Needless to say we did not get to see the interior because we didn't have 100 EUR in cash with us.

Very nice castle. The garden is very beautiful, based on the Versailles garden. The visit is very interesting and shows historical landmarks of the region.

This place is amazing. The gardens are breathtaking. If you only have time to visit one place make it this one. I enjoyed this more than Versailles

If this were reflected in the entry price, it wouldnt have been quite so bad!

Can't believe that it is owned by just one person. Super super incredible beautiful stunning palace like a mini size of Versailles.
Even much more beautiful.

Paymenly with cash and checques (??) only. There is a card payment device on the counter, but it may only be used for the gift shop. Big disappointment for my 4y old daughters that we had to leave.

Gorgeous. Aside from beautiful gardens, the interiors are really impressive. Lots and lots of antique furniture displayed in nice, thematically related setups - parlor, dinig room, bedroom etc. Takes quite a few hours to visit thoroughly.
