We stayed here for the two days that the Tour de France passed through Limoges. A three storey terrace building. The interior was a bit dated, but clean. We were greeted by the friendly owner who informed us that the cycle race was starting from the park area opposite, and we would have to park our car elsewhere. He advised us on a few locations that might be available, but we decided to pay for a secure parking at the station which was only five minutes walk away. We had room 31, up 57 (yep, I counted every one!) steps. The room faced away from the park, so was probably more peaceful. The room again was dated, but certainly clean and served the purpose. We chose to have breakfast, which was served in a small bar area next to reception. It was a basic affair of croissant, baguette, preserves, orange juice and a choice of tea and coffee. Due to the nature of our visit, and the unbelievable luck of the cycle race stages arriving and departing within a short walk from the hotel, the very minor issues were soon forgotten, and the price was extremely cheap too.

a good central location near to the cafes and boulangeries for the morning, and restaurants, bars, and clubs at night.

Heel goedkoop, elke waar is naar zijn geld. Prima geslapen in het scheve bed. Mooi uitzicht

Chambre petites, tristes, mal insonorisées et surtout pas bien chauffées.
Heureusement que la propreté est au rendez-vous...

Lovely, welcoming hotel. Very friendly staff, great location, clean and spacious rooms. Perfect independent city hotel.
