Very traditional French hotel, with English speaking staff. Hotel has been operational for over 100 years. Lots of charm and character in hotel and room. Massive ensuite with very modern fittings. Very good light and fast WiFi

Great location, inside the walled city. Rooms are alright. Internet is a hassle, room was cleaned late in the afternoon.

Like a building site above our room was having a refit constant banging and no explanation from any of the staff.was the same 5yrs ago it seems like every hotel in St malo are having a refit in March hard to get parked nearby due to contractors vans everywhere

Booked as part of a Brittany Ferries deal, nice hotel, with good amenities, although tea and coffee facilities in the room were lacking. Good breakfast selection. And a great location. Although the ferry docked at 8am, we were unable to check in until 3pm which kinda spoiled our plans to explore on the first day.

The room was well furnished and decently sized. The location is great, but the only draw back is a lot of street noise.

Drank at the bar outside. Comfy, good service, good wine. Lovely.
