C'est à se demander d'où sortent les 4 étoiles. Des prix qui ne justifient pas le service qui laisse a désirer, le temps d'attente interminable, un dessert pitoyable avec des madelaines aussi dures que des cailloux et ne parlont pas du "fondant"au chocolat qui est a se peter une dent.
En plus de cela, aucun geste commercial et le cuisiner et le pâtissier soit disant déjà partis depuis 21h justifient tout cela.

This restsurant really slow in food service...we went there to eat not to sit all day waiting for the food...a 1.5 hours for the main dish to appear on our table is too much of a time we did not wait for the coffee and desert i think to finish the meal will cost 2.5 hours of waiting.

The most delicious food and for great prices. Great friendly service, we didn't want to leave! Really recommend coming and getting plat de jour.

Beautiful hotel with history. The sauna and hamam are nice the fitness room was disappointing

The hotel is pretty old and could use an update. Room doors still work with actual keys, the locks on the bathroom door was hard to open once inside, etc.

While from the outside it might look old-fashioned, this is a lovely traditional restaurant (attached to a hotel), and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food and paired wine were both excellent. We had the fixed price menu - butternut squash soup, tuna steaks and lemon and basil pie - all paired with Alsatian white wine. Excellent. Worth a visit.

Upscale place with good local dishes

Ps: dont expect too much of the pool/hammam/etc. We left after 5 minutes.

That being said: i still feel like we got very good value-for-money. The location is excellent (do not miss out on L'un des Sens just around the corner for wine and meat/cheeses in the evening!!!). Although it was old, everything was clean. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Although we didnt eat in the hotel's restaurant, it looked very nice and we heard good thing about it. Easy parking in a (for french standards) excellent public parking garage one street further. If i come back to Colmar i'll be staying here again.
