I recently stayed at La Sucrerie with some friends. We traveled to France from New York and although we went to tour Paris, we did not want to be in the thick of it all. Not only is La Sucrerie in a quite adorable little town, but it is close enough to Paris to not be wasting our time in cars and trains. This place is truly a home away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the whole property is well kept and simply breathtaking, and the owner was very accomodating to myself and my large group of friends that I was traveling with. Not only did he tell us the must see spots, but also informed us on what to avoid. And pointed out the best place to get infamous macaroons! I strongly recommend La Sucrerie if you are planning on visiting Paris and want to see the outskirts as well and have a taste of the tranquility that the french countryside can offer.

While visiting relatives in Paris, I was looking for a BnB to spend a weekend away from the city and relax in a picturesque French town. La Sucrerie was exactly what I was looking for! After searching online, I realized that other BnBs, offering similar services were hours away and mostly accessible by train.
The house was clean, the rooms very comfortable and the management whiling to help with all of our needs.
Perfect opportunity for combining a trip to a magnificent city like Paris and a relaxing escapade in the French countryside!

i stayed at this b&b for 5 days without knowing what it looked like ahead of time (my friends made the booking). boy, was i surprised to find a not-so-regular-b&b. this house is just wonderful. each and every room has its own charm and will be to the liking of different types of guests. whether you're a couple, a family with kids or just traveling on your own; this house has a room for everyone. it has a lovely dining area and big well-maintained garden. the living room has a wonderful town-house feel to it and the location of the house is just right --- not too far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I am a resident in Manila (Philippines) I have rented the house which has a lot of charm, great amenities, and very friendly staff. The place is well located (few minutes from Paris) but you will also be able to relax since you are far from the noise and pollution. The house offers all the comfort of luxurious hotel. The price is very reasonable. For sure I will be back soon. Regine

La Sucrerie is a place i would definitely love to come back to.

I really enjoyed this perfect quiet getaway a few minutes away from Paris center. Been able to relax in such a nice house after a long and busy day in the noise and pollution of the capital is a treat.
I recommend this place to anybody willing to enjoy the peace and calm of an old house decorated with style and taste.
