Extremely interesting prehistoric site in Corsica, dating back to Neolithic times (dating back to 7000BCE). Of great interest are the carved stone menhirs which have been reerected on the site. The setting of the site in the valley is very beautiful and makes for a very enjoyable short walk. Note the information on site is a bit sparse, so I recommend the guide book that's for sale at the entrance (4€).

Great weather sculpted prehistoric stones. Impressive man sculpted menhirs

It was a nice introduction to the local menhirs and civilisation. I recommend seeing Cucuruzzu near Levie afterwards for a better guide and day out

We have traveled to many prehistoric sites in the Mediterranean and this is one of the best. The atmosphere is unique - our guidebook described it as "Tolkienesque," which is a perfect description. Very good guidebook and the staff was very friendly.

I liked Filitosa mostly because the menir soldiers reminded me of Asterix's stories. Otherwise, they leave a lot to your imagination and it can be quite hard to figure out their characteristics. Nevertheless, it's a nice visit if you're in the area.

Monolithes are placed in a wonderful landscape. The site is worth a 40 minutes visit. However, the price (7€) is too expensive consider the size of the site.

Megalolithic site of menhirs and dolmens. Rather incredibly accessible when you are in (you could walk all over everything if you wanted). Great value for money too - a big of tricky to get to.

A bit disappointing, although not a total waste of time. I liked Cucuruzzu/Capula more. This one is less interesting, more expensive and quite scorched on hot days.

Great spot, very interesting and nice walk around the park, it's not a long walk. Restaurant on the outside was good and the guy working there was very friendly. But they do not take credit cards (not for the entry ticket either)!

Interesting historic place. Walking about 1 hour through stone menhirs and ancient settlement.
