Nice hippie vibe. Good coffee basic mild flavors. Double espresso good. Great pastries. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great decor. English spoken and broken french accepted.

Quite a hipster place. In addition to serving coffee they roast and sell beans: I never bought any but I expect them to be good given how passionate they look about coffee. The place is peculiar, small and labyrinthic, with a decor made out of salvaged wood. The coffee is excellent, but it comes with a hefty price tag: an espresso is 3 euros, whereas you can find others that are essentially as good for 2 euros not too far away.

Nice place for pretty decent coffee. Pastries were average against Paris standards, but not bad at all. Atmosphere is cosy and there is free wifi.

The coffee is very good, as well as the pastries. The service depends. Sometimes perfect, sometimes not at all. I went there PERSONALLY to make a reservation. When I came two days later, there was no place reserved, they completely ignored the reservation apparently and simply told me there was no place. This can be quite annoying if you schedule an important meeting and you need a table.

Really nice coffee shop. Delicious coffee from all around the world. The only downside is that it is really crowded and loud all the time. Hence great to pass by and enjoy the coffee but not good for reading & resting silently etc.

Amazing coffee, one of the best coffee places in Paris and they are rare to find. Really cool little spot and lovely decor. We didn't try the cakes but the selection looked amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited La Cafeotheque after seeing it on a list of top 10 places for coffee in Paris. We were delighted by the entire experience. This is a place to which coffee is both a science and an art. They charge a little extra to stay in. The first time we went, it was a little more empty, and the second time we struggled to find a seat. They do a slow drip cold coffee that looks like a chemistry experiment, and you can watch it happen all day. When you stay in, you get free water (with some mint), which was great on a hot day. I had an iced cappuccino, which was delicious, and my husband said the espresso was by far one of the best he had in Paris. This is a place meant to be enjoyed and savoured, just like the coffee.

Very friendly staff. Sometimes during the day the place will get a bit crowded so you'll have to wait a bit until you can order but the staff is always doing their best even in the worst times. The coffee is very good and they use a Marzocco espresso machine!

This a great café. Very cozy. Good quality coffee. It’s hard to find a place to work (always busy!) and the internet isn’t available in all rooms though. The staff is very friendly.

Decided to wander over here after reading the reviews. It do not disappoint. Lovely eclectic atmosphere and loads of coffee to choose from. Latte was smooth and well balanced. I prefer mine a bit stronger but no quibbles here. Cheese cakes looked divine but will have to come back to try those another time. Well worth the walk

Another excellent italian style coffee in Paris. The cappuccino was excellent and served as should be. I took it as a takeaway but the place itself seems cosy and inviting to stay for a while and read a book with a warm coffee and croissant. Another place on my list for future visits.

The Caféothèque is the best third wave coffee you will find in Paris. They roast all their own beans and the roast is super light.
Besides having really great coffee beans, they are also great at pulling espresso. The shot I had was sweet and not the super-burnt acidic tasting espresso you'll find everywhere else in Paris.
The ambiance is really hipster, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff speaks English and one of them even speaks Spanish!
